I started this blog when I decided to "traverse the 7,000 mile hyphen in Afghan-American" and moved to Kabul to live and work in 2006. Now, I'm studying Arabic and some Islamic sciences in Amman, Jordan. This blog is just about the only consistent thing between these two experiences.
